The Poker Babe Shuffle

——————————————————————————–

According to several websites, there are some sponsorship changes going on at the 2009 World Series of Poker. Absolute Poker spokesperson Liv Boeree posted on her twitter page that she is now officially an Ultimate Bet pro alongside other female players Annie Duke and Tiffany Michelle.

With the Absolute Poker post left open, Pokerlistings reported last night that the original poker babe, Lacey Jones will be the new spokesperson for Absolute Poker. A couple of years back Absolute Poker tried to form a female poker site with Lacey as their top pro. The venture was short lived and the site closed without notice.

We don’t know how Jones will fit promoting Absolute Poker into her already busy schedule doing video interviews for the WSOP. No word on whether or not she’ll be playing as an Absolute Poker pro or just be the spokesperson.

Another possible switch may be former Full Tilt pro Clonie Gowen who this past week did an interview with Carbon Poker. We tried to contact Carbon Poker to find out if this was more then just an interview and have as of yet received no response.

This is off from one of the poker forums I’m a member of. Holdem Poker Chat.
